 Undergraduate Membership Requirements
A woman may be admitted for membership in an undergraduate chapter only while in attendance at a four-year accredited college or university, or in a liberal arts/transfer program of a junior or community college, once they submit proof on intention to enter and obtain a degree from a four-year school.  Candidates may be accepted for undergraduate membership after successfully completing one quarter, semester, or trimester.  The cumulative grade point average required for membership is 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).  Sigma Gamma Rho does not tolerate hazing of any form.  

The Xi Psi Undergraduate Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho was chartered at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia on May 24, 1996. After 25 years, Delta Pi Sigma welcomes our newest ladies to the Sisterhood.  Introducing The 9 PillarΣ of PerΣerverance. These women are committed to bringing back a legacy that once presided on the campus of Mercer University. Each of these 9 women embody the tenets of sisterhood, scholarship, and service that were first employed by our seven visionary founders.
